EU-Brazil Technology and Innovation Forum in Belém

On the occasion of the XXIV Anprotec Seminar on Science Parks and Business Incubation in September 2014 in Belém (Pará, Brazil), the International Cooperation project B.BICE+ funded by the European Commission organized the EU-Brazil Technology and Innovation Forum. Within this frame two representatives of AWARE, Dennis Böhmländer (research assistant) and Anne-Sophie Lohmeier (AWARE project coordinator) were invited to sahre their best practice experience in technology transfer between Europe and Brazil. B.BICE+ aims to enhance bilaterial cooperation and to support political dialogue in science, technology and innovation among European Commision, EU Member States, Associated Countries and Brazil. In addition to sharing best practice, B.BICE organized Business to Business (B2B) Encounters between Brazilian and European Research and Innovation Actors, where our AWARE-participants made first contacts and research approaches to Universidade Federal de Uberlandia, to University of Sao Paulo and to the Incubator Incubadora Tecnológica de Luzerna ITL from Santa Catarina. The following B.BICE+-Conference is expected to take place in 2015 in France.
