basci.net civic events: Bridge between science and society
The basci.net citizens' event in November 2021 unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. At the catch-up date, some of the planned programme items from November 2021 could be offered as part of the On Campus Festival on June 24th, 2022.
As part of the Ingolstadt Year of Science, the university invited everyone interested to get to know the THI, to discuss and celebrate together at the "On Campus Festival".
Under the motto SCIENCE ON, ARTS ON, PARTY ON, the campus was transformed into a festival area from 3 pm. Research and science provided a variety of insights with laboratory tours and lectures, students presented their projects, architectural tours and art installations rounded off the programme. On the campus lawn there was a children's programme, culinary delights and cosy lounge corners. Performance artists performed, the THI shone in a light installation and at the end of the day it was PARTY ON on the campus lawn.
