E-Car-Sharing in Santa Catarina

One result of the lively professional and personal exchange during the 2013 Electro-Mobility Forum in Joinville and 2014 in Ingolstadt is the start-up Mobilis in Florianópolis in the state of Santa Catarina, which has developed an innovative mobility concept for Santa Catarina, a combination of electrically powered small vehicles with integrated car sharing services.

Mobilis focuses on sustainable and flexibly applicable mobility concepts: It is an electrically powered vehicle on an innovative chassis developed on the model of a skateboard, which is intended to simplify and make mobility concepts or solutions - initially on internal company premises such as airports, industrial parks, amusement parks, etc. - more sustainable.
In addition to the ergonomic design of the vehicle, the vehicle is to be equipped with a flexibly applicable electric drive. A team of THI professors will advise the Mobilis team, which now includes a former THI student, on all aspects of business start-ups. The Electromobility Forum also sets the course in the search for investors and developers in Europe. With its innovative product in combination with a self-developed car-sharing service, Mobilis has already been a guest at numerous German-Brazilian innovation forums such as the Innovation Dialogue of the Federation of German Industries (BDI).
