Germany, Ingolstadt and THI

The picture shows a building of THI

Germany is the largest economy in Europe and the fourth largest in the world. The automotive industry occupies a special position in Germany, which also benefits the city of Ingolstadt and the THI, as AUDI has its headquarters here.

Through numerous cooperations, research projects and guest lectures the car manufacturer and THI benefit from each other. THI also relies on other regional and international industrial partners such as BMW, Continental, Airbus or Siemens. The business location Ingolstadt is considered an innovation centre for the automotive, aviation, logistics and their technologies.

THI focuses on engineering sciences and mobility technologies. The field of Artificial Intelligence is completely new: Ingolstadt was recently appointed as an AI mobility node by the Bavarian State Government - this is where research and development in this field converge throughout Bavaria.
