The AWARE Center at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt hosted a dynamic digital platform bringing together academics and industry leaders from Bavaria and Brazil to delve into the latest trends in sustainability and technology. The second edition of the groundbreaking digital event, AWARE+Share, themed "Building Tomorrow: Sustainability through Technologies and Key Skills," took place from November 11 to 14.
The unique event united participants from Germany and across Latin America to engage in insightful explorations across four thought-provoking sessions. Each session treated the pivotal aspects of sustainability and technology crucial for moulding the future of different domains. The roster featured esteemed speakers from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, academic partners in Brazil, and prominent industry players. Professors from TH Ingolstadt and renowned Brazilian institutions like USP - University of São Paulo and UFSC - Federal University of Santa Catarina, along with experts from the leading companies AIRBUS, Pixida, and Embraer, painted a comprehensive picture of prevailing trends in Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Mobility, and Energy. The event not only brought together academia and industry, but focused also on students, the vanguard of future research. It pointed out the essential skills needed to contribute to sustainable development in the respective fields. In view of the exceptional quality and relevance of the sessions to current research, the recordings will be made available to all interested parties under AWARE+Share 2024, ensuring that the valuable insights and discussions continue to resonate and inspire
