My experiences so far in the AWARE program have been sensational. The seminars are dynamic and interactive. THI offers foreign language seminars and scholarships in the many research areas. This should also be introduced more intensively at Brazilian universities. The city is also great, where very different people from other countries live. Therefore it is not difficult to meet people and speak with them in different languages, although Ingolstadt is relatively small. I come from a quite small city in Brazil, so I am excited about the many possibilities, like shopping malls, parks, public sports fields, soccer teams, etc. Furthermore, Munich is only one hour away. The Bavarian culture was already familiar to me before, as it was settled by German immigrants in my home region in the past. I advise other students from Brazil to earn money through research at the university or non-university internships, e.g. at AUDI, in order to finance trips through Europe, for example. It is worthwhile! One should also not be afraid to speak German. At the beginning it is difficult, but in everyday life it is a great help to be able to do a lot.
