Internationales Symposium „Unlocking Sustainable Futures“ in Florianópolis: Ein Forum für Nachhaltige Energietechnologien

The Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI), in cooperation with the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) and the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), announces the upcoming symposium and workshop "Unlocking Sustainable Futures: A Comprehensive Exploration of Solar Energy, Second-Life Batteries, and Green Hydrogen". This significant event will take place from April 16 to 18, 2024, in Florianópolis, Brazil.

Supported by the German Centre for Research and Innovation São Paulo (DWIH-SP), the symposium is dedicated to promoting research, innovation, and networking in the field of sustainable energy. It focuses on three essential topics: the advanced use and development of solar energy, the potential of second-life batteries, and the role of green hydrogen as a sustainable energy source. The aim is to intensify scientific exchange between academics, students, and industry professionals from Germany and Brazil, thereby deepening bilateral research relations.
A series of lectures and workshops led by leading experts will form the core of the symposium. The event offers extensive opportunities for exchanging best practices and networking, with the goal of discussing innovative approaches to the challenges of sustainable development and initiating future collaborations.

The symposium is open to all interested participants, including academics, students, and business partners from Brazil and around the world. It will be offered in a hybrid format, allowing participation both in person in Florianópolis and online.
