After a group of THI researchers visited University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil in May 2022, Prof. Marcio Lobo Netto and Prof. Joao Justo Filho came to THI for the second time during the project to deepen the collaboration. They had the opportunity to visit the campus and labs of THI and discuss about joint research proposals and the continuous collaboration with researchers from THI. As a result, students from USP and THI now have added opportunities to do a student exchange or research stay at the respective university.
USP as a strategic partner within the DAAD-funded project AI@motion International has been heavily involved in the development of joint research and network events. They will continue to be an important partner for the AWARE Center in Latin America.
