The European Student Fair, sponsored by the European Union, took place in São Paulo on 27 and 28 October. The AWARE team from THI was represented together with the Bavarian Latin America Centre (BAYLAT) at the joint stand "Study in Bavaria".
Felix Reinhardt from the AWARE team advised around 500 Brazilian prospective students at the "Study in Bavaria" stand. The English-language Bachelor's degree programmes at THI in the fields of engineering and business were particularly popular. There was also increased demand for information on Master's degree programmes and doctoral opportunities in the context of the two future THI doctoral centres in Artificial Intelligence/Computer Science and Engineering.
The excellent response from visitors to the European Student Fair can be attributed to the many co-operations and projects between THI and Brazilian universities in the greater São Paulo area. These include the Universidade de São Paulo (USP), the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) and the Centro Universitário FACENS in Sorocba. The AWARE team would like to thank BAYLAT as an important platform that makes these collaborations and activities possible.
