Volkswagen also has a strong commitment with the education of all employees and the community. With this goal in sight, the “Dr. Ferdinand Porsche Institute” was conceived throughout a tripartite agreement between Volkswagen Argentina, Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) and the Argentine National Government in 2008.
Since then, it operates as a framework for cooperation between VW Argentina, UTN and other institutions.
Among various functions, some of the most relevant are:
•    Promote the linking of the Industry with academic and scientific institutions.
•    Articulate knowledge transfer between the Industry and the Technological and Productive communities.
•    Implement and support curricular and extracurricular academic activities.
•    Coordinate the training of human resources & generate cooperation agreements at national and international level.
Throughout the Dr. Ferdinand Porsche Institute, the Company has signed this strategic cooperation agreement with THI Ingolstadt & UTN Gral. Pacheco.
Among other international activities, this program will include student & professor exchanges and also R&D projects between different partners, from 2020 until 2023.
